With great success and a strong presence, Prime Biosciences concluded its participation as a Silver Sponsor at the 7th Panhellenic Congress of the Hellenic Society of Emergency Medicine, which took place on April 25 & 26 April at the Royal Olympic Hotel in Athens.
As part of the congress's scientific program, our company hosted a satellite lecture titled "FebriDx: A Reliable Biomarker in Respiratory Infections," which drew significant interest from the medical community. The session, chaired by Mr. Athanasios Kitsakos (General Surgeon-Intensivist-Emergency Medicine Specialist, Head Director of the Emergency Department at the University Hospital of Ioannina) and featuring Mrs. Areti Theodorou (Internist, NHS Director of the Emergency Department at the University Hospital of Ioannina) as the keynote speaker, highlighted the urgent need for rapid and reliable Point-of-Care (POC) tests. These tools serve as a catalyst for swift patient triage and the effective decongestion of Emergency Departments (ED).
A focal point of the presentation was the FebriDx test, an innovative diagnostic tool supported by a wealth of clinical studies that confirm its high reliability and efficient use within the demanding environment of emergency care.
Furthermore, we were delighted to welcome numerous healthcare professionals to the Prime Biosciences booth. The productive discussions regarding how cutting-edge solutions like FebriDx can enhance clinical practice and provide immediate diagnostic results reinforce our commitment to remaining at the forefront of diagnostic innovation.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the distinguished chairs, the speaker, and everyone who visited us and contributed to the success of this event!
